Bon Iver presents a website to share versions of his songs

Justin Vernonthat is to say Bon Iverhas launched a website called Counterpartdesigned to share audio or video versions of your songs by all types of artists. Try your version.

Counterpart will be a place where other amateur or professional musicians, especially emerging ones, will be able to share their versions of Bon Iver songs, and these versions will be uploaded to the web randomly, including new or old versions.

The idea behind the project is to question why we like songs: Is it because of the person who sings them, or is it the song itself that attracts us? Justin Vernonthe leader of Bon Iver, believes that what is important is the song, not who performs it. For this reason, the identity of most of the artists who upload the covers is not revealed on this site.

The goal of this project is to have a space dedicated to celebrating the compositions of Bon Iver through the voices of others, and in which anyone can submit their own version in video, audio or photos to be shared on the site.

You can share your versions on Counterpart, which already has the first videos.
