Bobby Brown says Britney “shattered” my prerogative ‘

Bobby Brown has angered Britney Spears’s followers after stating that Spears “shattered” his 1988 ‘My Prerogative’ in his 2004 version.

Brown has been Franco talking to the journalist Shannon Sharpe in the Podcast Club Shay Shay: «Britney Spears shattered the song. I could not bear it, ”he said using the verb« Butcher »in English. Sharpe responds to Brown that he “approved” the version and Brown answers that he did it without listening first because “it was Britney Spears” and expected Spears to impress him.

Brown says he learned a lesson when he listened to Spears’ cover, that “I have to listen to the version before approved.” And he implies that he regrets that ‘My Prerogative’ is a song associated with Britney Spears: «You don’t know what the kids say today. Some say bullshit … and it is better for your song to stay out.

Brown also says that Teddy Riley, with whom he has worked in the past, produced the version of ‘My Prerogative’ by Spears, but in reality the production signed the Swedes Bloodshy & Avant, architects of ‘toxic’.

Spears’s ‘My Prerogative’ version was a success in Europe and reached the 2nd position in Spain, one of its biggest positions. The original was number 1 in the United States and is one of the pioneering productions of the New Jack Swing. It is the greatest success of the entire Bobby Brown career.

As expected, Britney Spears’s fandom has counterattacked accusing Brown to use Spears to maintain her relevance.
