Blind tickets for Actual 2025 are on sale

The Riojan festival Currentthe earliest riser of the year, will once again mark the beginning of the cultural year in Logroño, in La Rioja and throughout the state.

Coinciding with the presentation of the new edition of the Current Festival500 blind season tickets were put on sale and sold in just eight hours. A record in the history of the festival, which celebrates its thirty-fifth edition this year. Now there is a second batch of 500 blind tickets on sale at a special price of 45 euros that will be available until November 3 or while supplies last (in the following link), which give access to the six concerts on November 3 and January 4 at the UNIR Stage (La Rioja Sports Palace).

Current 2025 It will be held from January 2 to 6 next year in Logroño and will once again turn the Riojan capital into a Stage of Contemporary Cultures, as the subtitle of the festival states. Although the program will be announced soon, the festival will once again follow the culture map scheme with more than a hundred very diverse proposals for all audiences. Music, cinema, theater and other artistic manifestations will be spread throughout the day so that each person can make their own route and enjoy, in this way, the festival that best suits their tastes.

As for the musical programming, this year it continues to focus on the cycles that extend throughout the entire day and that are so well received by the public: an opening concert at Riojaforum on January 2; two nights of great concerts at the UNIR Stage (Palacio de los Deportes de La Rioja) on the 3rd and 4th; the musical event that the Würth Museum will host; the Gang War in the Foundry Room on the 2nd, 3rd and 5th; the Café Cantante of the Logroñés Circle; and the Current Urbano in La Gota de Leche. To all this will be added at noon the Matinales con Estrella de Wine Fandango and the Vermús Bulleros from Bodegas Franco Españolas; and in the morning, Current with Family in La Gota de Leche. A configuration of cycles that, as the counselor has defined, “present a great stylistic variety and cover all audiences, and that in this edition will be even more for all audiences, I can read that far…”.

Cinema will return strongly in the 2025 edition with the Matinees of the Rafael Azcona Film Library in the Gonzalo de Berceo room and the screenings, during the afternoons, at the Bretón Theater, which will be joined by the now traditional Sueños en Corto del Café cycle Breton.

Finally, the arts will also have a special presence in this thirty-fifth edition of the Rioja festival with Escenario Insólito and Sala Negra, in the theatrical part, along with a large proposal of exhibitions, which will complete the programming of a festival that will extend throughout the entire the city of Logroño and “with a multitude of appointments, the details of which will be known over the coming weeks,” Pérez Pastor concluded.
