Black Country, New Road announces album with his most tender theme

Three years after the vocalist Isaac Wood left the band, Black Country, New Road returns with the announcement of his third album. ‘Forever Howlong’ will be released on April 4 and the first single, the tender ‘besties’, is now available. It is the first song of the band in which Georgia Ellery sings alone.

‘Beasts’ is about the initial song of the album and, as indicated by his title, he speaks of the best friends: “I want to see my best friend greeting me.” In the complete album, Tyler Hyde and May Kershaw will also deal with the main voices: “It is very different from ‘Ants from there’, for the feminine perspective, and the music we have done complements it,” says Ellerry.

“After two years writing new music, we had a great time recording the album last fall with producer James Ford,” says the band in networks. Ford, who has collaborated with groups such as Arctic Monkeys, Fontaines DC or Depeche Mode, announced in the middle of the month that he had been diagnosed with acute lymphoid leukemia and that he was in treatment after “feeling quite bad on the eve of Christmas.”

The new album will take the band to a tour of the United Kingdom, Ireland, the United States and Europe, although they will not pass through Spain.
