Björk sits down with Zane Lowe for the premiere of ‘Cornucopia’

Today, January 24, Björk premieres the ‘Cornucopia’ film on Apple Music and Apple TV, the concert she has been presenting around the world since 2019. Spain had the opportunity to see Björk present ‘Cornucopia’ in Madrid. The ‘Cornucopia’ film will also be released in theaters in March, on a date yet to be determined.

The concert, recorded in Lisbon, can be seen on Apple Music from 4:00 p.m. «In this Apple Music Live show, the Icelandic avant-garde, known for her groundbreaking sound and theatrical performances, will perform Cornucopia, a unique digital animation show with moving backdrops, a modern magic lantern for live music, where reality visuals virtual theater of the 21st century are transferred to a theater of the 19th century.

‘Cornucopia’ features material from Björk’s last two albums, ‘Utopia’ (2017) and ‘Fossora’. Guðmundsdóttir already used this word in 2017, months before the release of ‘Utopia’, to describe his sessions as DJs.

To promote the premiere of ‘Cornucopia’, Björk sat down to talk with journalist Zane Lowe. It is the first time since 2018 that Björk has given an interview in front of a camera. In her talk with Lowe, Björk talks about artistic expression, technology or the “holistic” concept of her show.
