Biznaga denounce the housing problem in La Revuelta

Biznaga starred last night in the musical performance of La Revuelta. The group performed on public television ‘The future on plane’, one of the many songs from their latest album, ‘AHORA!’, that address the housing problem in Spain. The performance can be seen on RTVE, starting at minute 6.

Broncano said that the idea of bringing them to the program arose from a conversation with members of the team about precisely the problem of rents. “It is the big problem of our generation and of the one that comes too, which is going to be worse,” says one of the members of the group. In fact, Álvaro García, vocalist, clarifies at that time that the band is made up of three different generations, from 20 to 40 years old.

Both the presenter and the band took a moment before the performance to give visibility to this major problem on public television since, as they say, it is one of the topics that does come up in any conversation: “The rest of things you want in your life: aspirations, desires, joys… everything determines that you cannot have a house,” Broncano denounced.

The magic of television happened and Biznaga appeared on stage with instruments on and lyrics aimed at provoking a necessary change: “The future on plan, the right to the city / The future on plan, living with dignity.”

La Revuelta has once again won over El Hormiguero in audience, scoring a 16.8% share and 2,269,000 viewers. Pablo Motos’ program, on the other hand, achieved a 16% share and 2,094,000 viewers. In strict competition, Broncano surpassed the Antena 3 program by 2.8 points. They achieved this with the interview with Hugo Silva and with the performance of Biznaga. In El Hormiguero, David Bisbal was the guest star.
