Billie Eilish rescues ‘i love you’ in her first Tiny Desk

Billie Eilish and Finneas are on tour for ‘HIT ME HARD AND SOFT’, but they have escaped for a moment to fulfill a personal dream: record their own Tiny Desk.

The singer began with two of the audience’s favorite songs, taken from her latest album: ‘THE GREATEST’ and ‘L’AMOUR DE MA VIE’, to which she gave a more intimate touch. In one of the pauses, the singer admits that she is finding the experience “stressful” because she really wanted to do it: “This is so cool. “I’ve wanted to do this my whole life, so I’m shaking a little.”

In the second half of the performance, Eilish surprises by pulling out of the drawer of memories what she describes as “one of our favorite songs of all the ones we’ve written.”

It’s ‘i love you’, straight from Billie and Finneas’ first work, ‘WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?’: «It was the first time I fell in love and it was very scary. It’s strange how that fear never goes away, that fear of falling,” says Eilish. As it could not be otherwise, ‘BIRDS OF A FEATHER’ is the song chosen to end the set.
