Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa and Olivia Rodrigo will perform at the 2024 Grammys

The countdown to the celebration of the 2024 Grammys begins. The most important night in the music industry will take place on February 4 in Los Angeles, where the most important artists of the moment are expected to meet. And it seems that it will be so. Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa and Olivia Rodrigo will not only attend the event, but will also perform.

The Recording Academy has announced the ceremony’s first round of performances featuring three Grammy-winning singers…and not just any Grammy. Dua Lipa (2019), Billie Eilish (2020) and Olivia Rodrigo (2022) are winners of the gramophone for New Artist, which is awarded to the best new singer of each year. Now they will attend the gala consecrated as stars.

All three are also nominated for the most important categories. Eilish is up for five awards for her song ‘What Was I Made For?’ for the ‘Barbie’ soundtrack, which already earned him victory at the Golden Globes and which this time could take home the Grammy for Song of the Year or Record of the Year. Everything seems to indicate that this will be the song with which the author of ‘Happier Than Ever’ takes the stage.

On the contrary, the song that Dua Lipa will sing is more difficult to predict. Although she is nominated for Song of the Year for ‘Dance The Night’ for the ‘Barbie’ movie, the artist is in the midst of promoting her single ‘Houdini’. Maybe she will repeat the tactic from two years ago and surprise with a medley?

The third in question, Olivia Rodrigo, is another of the main nominees of the night. Her second album, ‘GUTS’, is nominated for Album of the Year and Best Pop Album, while ‘vampire’ is up for Song of the Year and Record of the Year. This will mark her second performance in Grammy history after her performance of ‘drivers license’ two years ago.

The Recording Academy has chosen to start its announcement of performances in style, although there are still many names to be confirmed. Will favorites Taylor Swift and SZA take the stage? Will Miley Cyrus dare with ‘Flowers’? Will there be news from Lana Del Rey or Boygenius? Everything is an unknown.
