Bilbao BBK Live returns with Herrian and Hirian in May and June

The festival takes live music to the streets from different towns in Bizkaia before its 18th edition in July: Herrian El May 17 in Abanto Zierbena and the May 24 in Amorebieta-Etxanand Hirian the June 7 in the La Peña-Abusu neighborhood of Bilbao.

Herrian and Hirian Bizkaia will go back as an appetizer of the Bilbao BBK Livewhose 18 edition will take place on July 10, 11 and 12 in Kobetamendi (Bilbao). Herrian It maintains its commitment to bring live music to the streets of different municipalities of the territory, and in this new edition it presents a double appointment with which it adds two new locations: on May 17 in Abanto Zierbena and on May 24 in Amorebieta-Etxano. For its part, HirianAbout the culture and diversity of a neighborhood of the Biscayan capital one more year, celebrating on June 7 in the streets of Peña-Abusu, one of the neighborhoods with the most identity of the town.

The appointment of Herrian In Abanto Zierbena on May 17 he will have names such as Jimena Amarillo, the children Jesus (the band of versions commanded by the journalist Jordi Évole), Ben Yar, Confeti de Odio, Amatria, Galerna and Las Petuniasamong others. A week later, on May 24, Herrian will take the streets of Amorebieta-Etxano with groups such as Collective da Silva, Pauline on the beach, Los Deltonos and VVV (Trippin ‘You), Rakky Ripper and Sharkamong others. On Saturday, June 7, the turn of Hirianthe traditional urban appetizer of Bilbao BBK Live, with a stop at the Peña-Abusu, and the performances of groups such as Javiera Mena, Ultralagrima, Parksvr, Airbag, the Bengala, Capsula honoring Ziggy Stardust, Pi Lt, Hens, Lablackie, Kiliki, Michael Foster, Rutheñora… among others.

Both initiatives, Herrian and Hirian, are initiatives that go beyond being a prelude to the festival: they reinforce the connection between the artistic creation and the social fabric of Bizkaia, promoting free access to culture, with daytime programming and for all audiences and ages. Conceived as transformative experiences, they seek to transcend the boundaries of the festival and become social change catalysts, promoting citizen participation and generating a positive impact on the communities that host them.
