Beyoncé wins his first Grammy to album of the year; Taylor doesn’t wear anything

The 67th edition of the Grammy Awards was held last night at Crypto.com Arena de los Angeles, with Beyoncé and Taylor Swift starting as favorites. Finally, ‘Cowboy Carter’ has become the first album of the American to win the Grammy to album of the year, while Swift has gone empty -handed. Thus, Beyoncé maintains the title of being the most awarded artist in the history of the Grammy, with 35 victories.

For Houston’s, the fifth is the defeated. ‘I am … Sasha Fierce’, ‘Beyoncé’, ‘Lemonade’ and ‘Renaissance’ were also nominated in the same category, without success: “There have been many years, many years,” Beyoncé commented at the beginning of his speech.

This has also taken the Grammy for the best country album and better country interpretation in duo or group by ‘II Most Wanced’, next to Miley Cyrus. The artist also becomes the first black woman to win album of the year from Lauryn Hill, in 1999, and to win a Grammy in the country’s category in 50 years.

However, the artist who has taken home in this edition is Kendrick Lamar, winning the five categories to which ‘Not Like Us’ was nominated, including song and recording of the year. It becomes the most awarded rap song in the history of the Grammy.

This Sierra Ferrell is followed, with four victories. Beyoncé, Charli XCX and St. Vincent have taken three statuettes each. ‘Brat’ has taken the Grammy for Best Dance or Electronic Album, Best Dance Pop recording and Best Packaging Design. On the other hand, Jon Batiste, Sabrina Carpenter, Gustavo Dudamel and Samara Joy have finished the gala with two awards.

Chappell Roan has taken his first Grammy, for the best new artist, and has taken the opportunity to launch a direct message to the record industry: «I would ask the seals and the industry, which are earning millions of dollars thanks to the artists, which some offer some Tolerable salaries and health care ».
