Francisco Javier Álvarez, better known as Beret, was arrested this Thursday afternoon in Seville for an alleged sexual assault. This was reported by Cadena SER, which also reports that the artist was brought to justice this afternoon and released provisionally for some events that occurred in the Andalusian city last April.
The judge has imposed as precautionary measures the prohibition of communicating and/or approaching within 500 meters of the complainant. His passport has also been taken away for three months. Two days ago, the Sevillian artist sang in front of Pope Leo XIV during his visit to Spain.
Beret began to be known after the great success of songs like ‘Lo sorry’ or ‘Holy’, which today accumulate hundreds of millions of views on platforms such as Spotify, until in 2019 he was signed by Warner Music.
