Benidorm Fest 2026 will reward the winner with 150,000 euros

Benidorm Fest will reward with a boat of 150,000 euros the winner of the next edition of the contest, scheduled for 2026, the president of RTVE, José Pablo López, announced this noon.

The prize aims to serve as “mattress” for the winning artist to “carry out his musical career” and also to encourage the participation of emerging, independent and/or consecrated artists. Above all, the purpose seems to be strengthening the contest and raising its artistic quality after the disappointment of this year’s edition, and at once dodge the Eurovisive “Bottom” next year.

Last February, Benidorm Fest 2026 was announced, the appointment of an artistic director. The chosen person is “finalizing his hiring” with RTVE.
