Belle & Sebastian’s most cool tour excludes Spain

Belle and Sebastian have announced a special tour to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their first albums, the celebrated ‘Tigermilk’ e ‘If you’re Feeling Sinister’. It will be fulfilled, in both cases, next year.

It is not that the first albums of the group are for sure the best of their career. Our writing was determined in a vote 10 years ago, but there was always an exciting debate about it, including other works of his edited between 1998 and 2003. At least, ‘Tigermilk’ and “Sinister” are very dear among their fans because they are the first, and the germ of what came later.

The first album included wonders like ‘The State I am in’ and ‘She’s theing It’, in addition to curiosities such as ‘Electronic Renaissance’. The second, the outstanding ‘Get Me Away from Here, I’M Dying’, one of the best compositions of his career, as well as the tremendous title theme or ‘Like Dylan in the Movies’.

Belle & Sebastian have reserved two nights per city: the first will play the first complete album, and a selection of hits; And the second night will play the second complete album, and a selection of hits.

Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, Colonia, Dublin and London are some of the cities closest to Spain on a European tour that will take place between February and April next year, before leaving to the United States. They will end in their native Glasgow. However, there is hope for our country (lowercase per calendar, yes): the group has announced that some cities are missing.
