Belén Aguilera, in his “Sad Girl Era” in ‘Lady in Hurry’

Belén Aguilera continues to rebuild the material of his next album, ‘Annela’, which is published at some point in 2025. After ‘labyrinth’ – present in the top 40 of Jenesaispop – and the double single of ‘eclipse’ and ‘rescue’, arrives ‘lady in hurry’.

Aguilera recovers the classic concept of “Damisela in Hurry” in this issue in which he claims his right to be sad. “When I am wrong, I only tighten myself on the floor, my tear, it seems like a velvet.” It is another of its identifying rhymes. Even more recognizable is the following, which encapsulates the meaning of the song: “This is my sad girl, spring will come.”

The message of ‘Lady in Hurry’ – the seventh cut of ‘Anla’ – is that Aguilera does not need any man – from there it originates such an outdated concept – the rescue of his sadness: he only needs to cross the duel in his own way. “Let me cry and tomorrow I will not cry, let me find the exit that I will find,” he sings in one of the best verses of the song.

For ‘Give me in trouble’, Belén Aguilera has conceived a sound as atmospheric as that of the three previous singles. This time, its dramatic pop brand merges with a classic hip-hop rhythm, almost trip-hop, which in the end breaks. Mr. Naisgai is the main producer of this song that also includes flashes of strings and pianos.

Aguilera acts for free today at the Pride in Barcelona, sharing a poster with Melody, Tommy Cash, Sonia and Selena or Samantha Hudson.
