After the compilation album of rarities and covers that he published in January, beck returns to the news by releasing the single “Ride Lonesome” and announcing that he will return to the stage in September.
This same year, the American artist Beck published the album of rarities, covers, etc., “Everybody’s Gotta Learn Sometime”which took its name from a version of The Korgis that was included on the album. Now the news is that the musician is releasing a new single, “Ride Lonesome”, an action that he takes advantage of to announce that he will return to the stage starting in September.
“Ride Lonesome” recovers the more acoustic and calm Beck, looking back to the years of “Morning Phase” (14) and also “Sea Change” (02), two albums that marked turning points in his career.
The song was produced by Beck and mixed by the usual Nigel Godrich. The song combines acoustic guitars with piano and strings, showing one of the most sensitive sides of the artist. As for what we mentioned about the tour, starting in September Beck will embark on a long North American tour that will take him to more than twenty American locations and some Canadian ones. He will pass through cities such as Los Angeles, Portland, Chicago, Atlanta and many others until the tour ends on October 31 in Nashville.
