Bebe Rexha calls G-Eazy "ungrateful" for 'Me, Myself & I'

Bebe Rexha threatens to expose the industry

Bebe Rexha has lashed out at the music industry in a series of messages in which she has threatened to reveal the “truths” that the sector is hiding.

“I could take a GOOD chunk of this industry down,” Rexha said. “I AM frustrated. I have been UNDERSTOOD. I have been silent for too long. I haven’t seen the signs even though people have constantly put them in front of me and they have been SO OBVIOUS. And when I have spoken out I have been silenced and PUNISHED by this industry. Things need to change or I will tell ALL my truths. The good, the bad and the ugly.”

Rexha, in another thread, claims that people don’t know “even five percent” of the grievances she has experienced in the industry and has pointed out that the omission of her name in the credits of ‘Hey Mama’ seems like “child’s play” to her compared to the rest of the injustices she has experienced.

When someone accused Rexha of speaking out for “marketing” after she recently released a new single, Rexha indirectly criticized the industry again, saying that she doesn’t actually have a “budget” to invest in marketing, and added that she is “FED UP”. Bebe has confirmed that the industry “PUNISHES” anyone who decides to speak out about the injustices that exist in the industry.

In a final message, Rexha clarifies that she is not only “angry” but also “sad”: “I am sitting in my hotel room in London, CRYING non-stop. I have been feeling hopeless for so long.” Rexha notes that “walking around London” and meeting her fans in person has “ignited” a fire in her, perhaps the one that led her to post her messages.

Rexha recently publicly attacked rapper G-Eazy, her collaborator on the single ‘Me, Myself & I’, calling him “ungrateful” and a “loser.” She also threatened to reveal the truth about him: “You’re lucky people like you again, because I could detail all the shit you’ve done to me and how you treated me after I gave you your only real hit.”
