Beats, concerts and talks about women in flamenco

Born Comesñerasthe concert cycle and talks to celebrate and claim the role of women in flamenco.

Grazia Carlone and Silvia Vecchiniof Extra MøeniaThey have created a cycle of concerts and talks to make visible the role of women in flamenco and to publicize names of some of the companions. The name of the initiative is Comesñerasand its symbol is “Dal Segno (DS)”

The program will be held at the winery Tannines Sagrades (Passatge Simó, 20, Barcelona) and hopes to have a dynamic, varied and entertaining poster that helps artists in their projection. Those in charge of starting this adventure are The opinionsnext May 4; A feminist humor group. The following week, on May 11, the witness will pass Cristina Lópezsinger with a career as a flamenco teacher, musical director and researcher at the Music Technology Group (MTG, Pompeu Fabra University).
