Kiddo butter, producer for artists such as Recycled J, Cruz Cafuné or Quevedo and one of the most successful in the country, has received a flood of accusations in social networks from other producers who have worked with him. These assure that “he does not know how to produce” and that “it has been stealing credits for years.” At the moment, there is no answer from Kiddo butter.
Everything has emerged following the last album of Delaossa, ‘La Madrugá’, in which Kiddo participates in four songs as a producer and two others as a composer. Producers such as Chock, the secret and Govea the firm, collaborators of Cruz Cafuné, have not taken to flood the networks with what seemed like an open secret. The Grindin ‘medium has already baptized what happened as “beatgate.”
Chock, who also appears as a composer with butter in the song ‘Ángel’, declares that “all the producers who have worked with him know what there is”: “A producer who does not know or produce tried to sell the motorcycle that he was not a simple beatmaker, and now I understand that he was right, it is much more than that, it is a fucking Scammer,” he said in X.
According to what the accusations say, it is not something that has happened only on the album of Delaossa, but is in practice for years. This was declared by the producer The Secret: “Kiddo has been stealing credits for years and nobody has the balls of saying anything.” Nor does it go with rodeos: “Kiddo butter steals, shows her face.”
This specifies, accusing of stealing samples to colleagues: “Stop using samples of people who then ask you for the stems and you say you don’t have them fucking rat.” Govea the firm, on the other hand, wonders “what other artist are you going to deceive to sell the motorcycle”, now that everything would have been uncovered: “Even your water mark is a robbery,” he concludes.
If these accusations are true, it is not clear how Kiddo butter has been able to be active for so many years, but it is presumed that the complicity of other people would have needed. Kiddo is one of the most successful producers in the country, adding more than 1.5 million monthly listeners in Spotify and having worked with the most powerful names of the urban landscape. ‘Veneno’, the most streamed song in Delaossa, would be his production, along with J.Moods.
