Quevedo together with Elvis Crespo and Quevedo together with Nueva Línea maintain number 1 and 2 on the Spanish singles chart, but the news of the week is just below: ‘Bby WOW’, by Karol G together with Judeline and Russowsky, rises from the top 10 to number 3.
The song already seemed like one of the freshest songs on ‘I don’t regret feeling so much’ from the beginning, thanks to that sample of ‘Move Ya Body’, and the public has finished confirming it: ‘Bby WOW’ is growing at full speed. It has already reached global number 1 on Spotify and this week it rises to number 38 on the US Billboard.
For Karol G, accustomed to accumulating number 1s in Spain and Latin America, it may not be the biggest event of her career. For Judeline and Rusowski yes. It is, by far, their biggest success, even though it comes in the form of a collaboration. Judeline had reached the top 15 with ‘Imperio’, her collaboration with Duki, while ‘Romero santo’ with Dellafuente had reached 35, ‘Com Voce’ with Amaia at 37 and ‘Zarcillos de plata’, already solo, at 69. ‘Zarcillos de plata’ and ‘Canijo’ have earned Lara Fernández two Gold Records.
Rusowski already had more experience with summer hits: ‘Malibu’ reached number 6 and still remains around the top 50 of the most listened to songs. ‘Bby WOW’, however, is already playing in another league.
The other two entries of the week are also urban: Brytiago debuts at 72 with the underwater R&B of ‘Esto Pa’ Ti’, while Myke Towers places at 78 the nice reggaeton with brass winds of ‘Carita Feliz’.
