Bad Gyal hints at a collaboration with Rosalía

Bad Gyal began 2024 by releasing his long-awaited debut album, ‘La Joia’, an album that has taken his personal Jamaican-inspired sound to the next level. And Alba Farelo ends the year in a surprising way, hinting that a collaboration with Rosalía could be close.

Bad Gyal has spoken in the past of his intention to work with Rosalía. In a recent interview, Farelo commented on having collaborated with all the powerful women in the industry, such as Karol G, Anitta or Tokischa, except with the original MOTOMAMI, who is Catalan, like her.

During Bad Gyal’s appearance at the Los 40 Music Awards pre-show, Farelo is asked if he would “like” to collaborate with Rosalía. Then, the author of ‘Fever’ giggles and, without going into details, cautiously answers: “He who remains silent grants.” Between the lines it is read that the Bad Gyal and Rosalía duet is on the way, although there is no official confirmation.

Bad Gyal has just won a Los40 award in the Best Urban Artist category. Currently, Farelo triumphs with ‘Duro de Verdad Pt. 2’, his bachata with Los Sufridos, which has reached number 2 in Spain. Lately she has been invited to La Revuelta.
