Austra, Spanish tour with their new album “Chin Up Buttercup”

Australia will act on February 28 in Madrid and the March 1 in Barcelona to present his new album, “Chin Up Buttercup”which will be published on November 14.

This new stage of the Canadian pop project Katie Stelmanis It promises to be a catharsis of what we already saw in their fourth album, “HiRUDiN” (20). A combination of classic and modern, with an extravagant touch that does not leave you indifferent. Another crossover with a very well defined and worked darkness, to the point of making it addictive and danceable.

The publication of “Math Equation”, at the end of August, already gave us a glimpse of the sounds that we will find in “Chin Up Buttercup”. An album that will move between the synthetic and the gothic, with just the right amount of British new wave from the eighties.

The announcement of the visit of the Canadian group to Spain has coincided with the publication of the second advance single from this album: “Siren Song”. Stelmanis and the co-producer Kieran Adams They say they were inspired by the Eurodance sound of the emblematic album by Madonna “Ray Of Light” (98), the one that produced him William Orbit.

For these concerts February 28 in Madrid (Villains Room) and of March 1 in Barcelona (La Nau) Tickets are now on sale on the Houston Party website.
