To all that has been said we must add the latest version of Astell&Kern’s innovative amplification circuitry, until now only used in the company’s most elite models and which allows obtaining impressive records (130 dB!) in the signal/noise ratio using balanced connection, while at the same time its high delivery capacity current and its two gain modes ensure compatibility even with high-impedance headphones.
The A&norma SR35 also offers the user the possibility of switching between modes Dual DAC and Quad DAC in order to adjust and improve the efficiency of energy consumption management, also increasing battery life, the latter being a fundamental characteristic of the A&norma series. With regards to the “Hi-Res” compatibilitythis refined portable digital player supports native playback of DSD files up to DSD256, PCM up to 32-bit/384 kHz and MQA, plus the Roon Ready approval.
