“Asking For A Friend” is a new advance by the American rock band Foo Fighters. The group has used the release to announce a twelve-date tour of the United States with luxury guests.
Dave Grohl and his Foo Fighters have released a new single, “Asking For A Friend”, a song that adds to “Today’s Song”, which they released last July and that guides us about what we are going to find in the next studio work by the Americans. It will be their first job with the incorporation of Ilan Rubin to the lineup. According to Grohl, “Asking For A Friend” is “a song for those who have waited patiently in the cold, trusting in hope and faith to find their horizon again. For all those who have sought proof while holding on to their desires until the sun shines again.”
But it is not just a single, it has also served to announce a twelve-date stadium tour across North America for next year and for which they will have some truly luxury opening acts. And it is confirmed that they will be part of the “Take Cover Tour” nothing less than Queens Of The Stone Age, Mannequin Pussy and Gouge Away. The tour will kick off on August 4 at Rogers Stadium in Toronto and end on September 26 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
