Ariana, Pamela, ‘Baby Reindeer’… nominated for the Golden Globes

This afternoon the nominations for the Golden Globes were announced, which in Spain are broadcast in the early hours of January 5 to January 6, starting at 2:00 am. Comedian Nikki Glaser will present the ceremony from the Beverly Clinton in California. She is one of the nominees.

Some of the best films and series of 2024 for the JENESAISPOP editorial team receive nominations, such as ‘Anora’, ‘Challengers’, ‘Emilia Pérez’ or ‘La Subtancia’. ‘Wicked’ – among the nominated films – brings acting nominations to Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, who compete in separate categories, the first in Supporting Actress, the second in Lead Actress.

On television, nominations fall to wonders like ‘Ripley’ or ‘Baby Reindeer’, and also to ‘The Bear’ and ‘Only Murders in the Building’ in comedy, and ‘The Day of the Jackal’ or ‘The Diplomat’ in Drama. The Globes also introduce two new categories, Cinematographic and Box Office Achievement and Best Comedy Performance on Television.

In the year of Pamela Anderson’s vindication, the actress receives her first Globe nomination for her leading role in ‘The Last Showgirl’.

And, among the absences that are already being commented on online, ‘Joker’ and its protagonists, Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga.
