When Ariana Grande wrote the words “see you in 2024” at the end of 2023, she actually meant “see you in a few weeks.” Grande has announced that her new single, ‘yes, and?’, will be released this week, on Friday, January 12. With ‘yes, and?’, Ariana inaugurates a new era and marks the first major international release of the year. It can be said that Ari kicks off the great musical year that is coming.
2024 will be the year in which Grande releases a new album, the first in three years, the same number that have passed since ‘positions’ (2021). For this new project, Grande has once again counted on her allies Max Martin and Ilya Salmanzadeh.
Ariana has never let so much time pass between the release of one album and the next. However, Grande has been busy in recent years promoting her ‘rem’ cosmetics line, filming the musical film ‘Wicked’, which premieres in November, and collaborating with The Weeknd on the remix of ‘Die for You’, the which has given Ariana a new number 1 single in the United States. Plus, Grande hasn’t forgotten to celebrate the 10th anniversary of her debut.
Ariana has reappeared live this Christmas, singing the remix of ‘Oh Santa’ with Mariah Carey and Jennifer Hudson.
Ariana has been in the news in recent months, too, for changing management and therefore saying goodbye to her work with the controversial Scooter Braun. Brandon Creed now represents the ‘Break Free’ singer through his company Good World Management.
