Ariana Grande is experiencing a very sweet professional moment since the premiere of ‘Wicked’, the film in which she stars alongside Cynthia Erivo, which has led her to receive her first Golden Globe nomination. In fact, Grande has already announced that her second part of ‘Wicked’, titled ‘Wicked: For Good’, can be seen in theaters starting November 21, 2025.
On the musical side of her career there is worse news: Ariana will not go on tour to present her fantastic latest album, ‘eternal sunshine’, live. Republic Records has confirmed that “there are no tour plans” for the singer in 2025.
The words from Republic Records have come after fake Ariana Grande concert dates appeared online, TMZ explains.
With ‘eternal sunshine’ there are already two Ariana Grande albums that have not had a presentation tour: the last one she did dates back to 2019, to the ‘thank u, next’ stage, and this album was presented live taking advantage of the tour of the previous one, the Sweetener Tour. There was no ‘positions’ tour (2020) and there will be no ‘eternal sunshine’ tour either.
In a recent interview, Ariana has expressed her desire to direct her career towards theater. It seems that life on the road simply no longer interests him.
