We needed new news Bogotá burns and we already have them here. The group has just released “Instrucciones”, a piece with powerful guitars that serves as a preview of what will be their third album.
Produced by Joe Chiccarelli and recorded at the legendary EastWest Studios in Los Angeles, the song maintains the energy of the group’s rockiest songs, which leads us to think that the group’s new work will continue to sound strong. Let us remember that Joe Chiccarelli has worked with countless artists since the 1980s, both as a producer and as an engineer. They have passed through his hands since Frank Zappa until The Strokespassing through Broken Social Scene, Flogging Molly, Manchester Orchestra, My Morning Jacket, The Raconteurs and above all he has been behind the controls of the latest works of Morrissey.
On the other hand, the group unveiled the cover of this new single yesterday at the exhibition “The best lyrics in Spanish”organized by Apple Music and the Cervantes Institute
“Instructions” is the first advance of what will be the third full-length of the Cartagena group after the EP “Time and attitude” and the long celebrated “The night” (21) and “A3 Cowboys” (23). There is still no clear release date for this third album, so we will have to be patient and wait.
In a few days, Antonio García, Dani Sánchez, Pepe Esteban and José Ángel Mercader will embark on a European tour that will take them to some big cities such as Lisbon (May 15, Sagres Campo Pequeno), Porto (May 16, Super Bock Arena), London (May 20, Electric Ballroom), Paris (May 22, Bataclan), Brussels (May 23, La Madeleine), Berlin (May 25, Columbia Theater) and Milan (May 28, Fabrique).
