Arctic Monkeys return with a charity song

Arctic Monkeys are releasing their first song in 4 years this Thursday. The song will be part of an album intended to raise funds for the NGO War Child and several artists will be part of it, although more names are not yet known. As reported by the organization this afternoon, the Sheffield song will be released at 4:00 p.m. on January 22.

Rumors about a new Arctic Monkeys song began circulating earlier this month, when War Child posted a message on Instagram hinting that a charity album was in the works. “A group of artists are working on something important in support of War Child,” the post read.

As is normal for the British group, little has been heard from them since the release of ‘The Car’ in 2022. The announcement has come with a small clip of a child running on a beach, but does not include any preview of the song. Regarding the title, it is also unknown.
