Ark has reimagined and reinterpreted “Sexistial”, the main track of the new album that will mark the long-awaited return of Robyn
Two generational musical icons, Robyn and Arkhave teamed up for the first time on recording with the release of “Sexistial (Arca’s Take)”. Showcasing both his vocal and production skills, Ark reimagines the main theme of the highly anticipated next album by Robynonce again subverting expectations with a version that takes the original even further into the club arena.
“Sexistential” is possibly the world’s first song about having one-night stands while ten weeks pregnant after IVF. Conceived as a replica of Andre 3000who said no one would want to hear him rap about his colonoscopy. Robynwho would love to hear that rap, decided to risk it all. “It was my chance,” he says. Robyn “I have to do it, I have to write a rap about IVF.”
