The Araba ARF Tour initiative conveys the essence of Azkena Rock Festival to Santa Cruz de Campezo on June 13.
Araba ARF Tour returns in June as a powerful initiative to extend the spirit of rock’n’roll beyond Mendizabala, and thus bring the essence of Azkena Rock Festival to Alava territory. This year the cycle moves on June 13 to Santa Cruz de Campezo, with a free access program that will connect the town with the sound identity of the festival, bringing together a careful selection of artists that combines local proposals with international names framed in rock, punk, soul and garage sounds.
From Scotland they will arrive Bratakus, punk duo formed by twins Breagha and Onnagh Cuinn, recently opening for The Hives and whose music combines attitude, irony and social criticism, while the French Alexis Evans will display his danceable mix of classic soul, funk and blues loaded with contemporary energy. The Basque representation will be provided by the veteran Bilbao garage punk and rock’n’roll band The Sectwho will present their latest work, “Looking for the light”and Dog Haira local band from Kanpezu and their raw, unadorned rock proposal.
