Andy and Lucas went to El Hormiguero tonight to announce what clearly seems like their separation. The reason behind this decision is Lucas’s health. The singer explained that he suffers from a heart problem and that the doctor has advised him to reduce stress.
“Five years ago I took the reins of Andy and Lucas, I’m a psychopath about my work,” the musician explained. «Over time I started to get dizzy, they told me my blood pressure was quite high, that led me to see a cardiologist, they put a valve on me. So the best thing is to slow down.”
The duo from Cádiz has not closed the door on the possibility of returning in the future and has preferred to say that they are “taking a break”, but has added that “we don’t know if we are going to return” and has literally announced a “farewell tour for our audience. Lucas added that “without health we are nobody.”
