The 51st edition of the American Music Awards has been held tonight at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas de Las Vegas after two years of absence.
The ceremony has been presented by Jennifer Lopez, who has performed the opening show, in which, after singing a piece of ‘Dance Again’, it has completely delivered to the dance, offering a medley of some of the most popular 2025 songs, of artists such as Doechii, Chappell Roan, Bruno Mars and Rosé, Billie Eilish or Bad Bad Bunny.
The great winner of the night has been Billie Eilish, who has taken the seven awards she aspired, including the artist of the year. Eilish, however, has not been able to go to the gala, since it is in Europe presenting its world tour. Other winners of the night have been Bad Bunny, Eminem, Sza – who has been able to collect his award – or The Weeknd.
Another of the protagonists of the evening has been Janet Jackson, who has collected the ICON award, in honor of its impact on the industry. Jackson has returned to 2001 in his performance to recover the viral ‘Subeone To Call My Lover’ and ‘All for You’. They have also been awarded for their trajectory Rod Stewart and Zac Brown.
In addition, Benson Boone has presenting ‘Mystical Magical’, Gwen Stefani has offered a ‘Love.angel.music.baby’ medley for his 20th anniversary, Gloria Estefan has also remembered her discography, and Reneé Rapp has presented her fun new single single.
