Amaral fights “Demonios de Fuego” and announces a new date for their album

Amaral have had to delay the release of their new album, ‘Dolce Vita’, for family reasons in Juan Aguirre’s circle. It should have come out last week, but it wasn’t possible. Today we know that it will logically arrive next year, on February 7.

To console their followers, the group shares a 5th advance single after ‘Rompehielos’, ‘There you are’, ‘Libre’ and ‘I don’t understand’, which is called ‘Los demons del fuego’.

It is an acoustic song, almost in the style of those of Nick Drake, in which the string arrangements eventually emerge. Eva sings to us about the path until “we find what is truly important, and about finding our place at last.” According to the press release, “it also speaks of the ability to rebuild ourselves after pain and to recover hope.”

The lyrics in the foreground speak of our struggle in the past (“scratching the earth with my hands, hands that are now roots, and that were once scars of difficult times”), which has not worn away the will to live. The chorus assures that “if the fire demons come for me, I’m not afraid of them, I’ll wait for them here.”

The duo encourages their audience, anticipating Christmas: “We hope that this song accompanies you these days wherever you are: away from your home or with your family, in peace or riding on the back of a damselfly.”
