Amaia is inspired by Basque-Navarrean folklore in “Aralar”

Amaia pays tribute to his roots with “Aralar”, an intimate and mysterious song inspired by Basque-Navarrean popular music. To accompany the theme, he has shared a spectacular video clip in which the costumes and image are essential.

“Aralar” is a combination of folk elements with dreamlike atmospheres. Produced together with Ralphie Choo and Drummiethe lyrics are reminiscent of ancient love spells with verses loaded with symbolism and melodies that transport Basque-Navarrean folklore.

The single is accompanied by a video clip co-directed by Cesar Rodrez and Daniel Dalfo in collaboration with Olympiccreative studio specialized in post-production and interactive arts. “Aralar” consolidates Amaia’s unique style, where she manages to combine the traditional and the contemporary with great ease.
