Alpaca Sports, Ama, Pope Topo … in Madrid Popfest

Madrid Popfest, the self -managed and non -profit festival that each spring is held in the capital, completes its poster. The new confirmed ones that will act in Galileo Galilei between March 21 and 22 are Alpaca Sports, Ama, Miss Spain, Mt Misery and Pope Topo. Previously, people like Helen Love, Chime School or The Scottish The Cords had already been confirmed.

The Swedes Alpaca Sports have just been news because they have just published ‘Another Day’, their first album in 7 years and which we reviewed a few days ago appealing to the beginnings of the Elefant label. The British Mt Misery, pure indie pop, follow the trail of people like Teenage Fanclub, while by our country highlights the return to the Ama stages after 10 years. As you know, it was the parallel group of Javier Sánchez de la Buena Vida with his brother Borja. In 2023 they published the album ‘dissociation’ co-produced by Joaquín Pascual, as well as a double vanica version.

The confirmed list is completed with Papa Topo, which recently passed through our list of best songs 2024 with the narrative and sordid ‘tell me lies’; and with the Madrid Miss Spain, from Madrid, on behalf of the Underground of the city.

The fertilizers of this edition are available in says, and given the popularity of the festival, it is recommended to acquire them in advance, since the capacity of the Galileo Galilei room is limited. Soon the poster will also be announced for days: attention therefore to its social networks.
