The Festival debut edition Occident Alicante Altato be held from July 13 to AgostOr, he has presented his last four confirmed artists. It’s about Seal, UB40, thunder and Paloma San Basilio.
This summer, the city of Alicante will host for the first time the Occident soulthe boutique festival that has already conquered Barcelona and Madrid. The poster has artists like Seal (July 13)a modern soul icon that marked a whole generation with classics such as “Kiss from a rose” or Thunder (July 15)the Argentine who combines urban rhythms with Latin roots and a strong social content. There will also be space for live legends of music, as is the case of Paloma San Basilio (July 25), who has traveled all genres with elegance, charisma and an unmistakable voice, and UB40 (July 31)the pioneers of the British reggae-pop that have been danced more than four decades with their hymns.
All these recent incorporations are added to a program that already had Texas (July 14), Travis (July 23), Molotov (July 12), Kool & The Gang (August 6), Guitarricadelafuente (July 19) and Jethro Tull (July 20). Ten artists on ten different nights, who will perform in the Multispace Rabasathe great outdoor enclosure, designed to enjoy live music with all comforts.
With a mixture of soul, indie, rap, melodic pop and reggae, the poster of the western Allicante has opted for the diversity of styles and the plural vocation, in an edition designed for those who enjoy music in its purest form, this time in a unique enclave of the Spanish Levant.
