Allie X returns to the music scene: the artist announced today that her new album is now ready. It is titled ‘Girl With No Face’ and will be released on February 23 of next year. It will be her first album since ‘Cape God’ in 2020.
“It’s the first self-produced album I’ve ever made, and at times it felt like I wasn’t going to make it out alive, much less send out a press release about it,” Allie says. «It is very difficult to summarize a job in which you have invested thousands of hours, but here is an attempt. There is a death in this music, as well as the beginning of a rebirth. “I needed to do something that came completely from me.”
The singer has described the album’s songs as “furious, stubborn, honest, dry, melodramatic, fast and indulgent,” joking that they are “the same way” people “describe” her. The first one we were able to hear was ‘Black Eye’, while today she released the song that gives its name to the album, ‘Girl With No Face’.
