Two new Spanish urban values have joined for a song. On the one hand, Aleesha, the Ibizan based in Barcelona that is not known as ‘La Patrona’. On the other, the Murciana L0rna, author of the incredible ‘Mr. Beat sex.
Boards, Aleesha and L0rna deliver ‘Superstar’, because superstar are from the day they were born. This is stated about this nostalgic hip-hop Beat of Manu Oliva and Jaasu that brings back the two military crunk. Ying Yang Twins, Lil Jon or Ciara have been able to be in their spotlight.
The theme is full of the expected impudence. Aleesha, on the other hand, boasts of cochazo, pelazo, nails and “show of the boast.” And it challenges: “My ex says that I am crazy, and it may be true.” In the chorus it sides a reference to ‘Who’s That Chick’ by Rihanna and David Guetta. At least, it is in our head. Someone had to claim that song!
L0rna enters the Beat halfway with the chulería that characterizes it. In addition to presuming confidence, discipline and paste in the bag, he sends a greeting to his colleague Bea Fight and another to the “beautiful” because “those who envy are ugly.”
‘Superstar’ is addictive from the first listening, thanks also to its minimalist Beat, which is adding elements progressively: the acoustic guitar rags and the keyboard melody that merger in the chorus emit some Arabic echo.
The only ‘superstar’ element that does not work is its forced spoken part, which includes a joke on the member of an ex, just as small as a lipstick.
