Ayax and Prok, the twin rapper duo from Granada, have issued a statement in which they deny the accusations of alleged sexual abuse received from the Instagram account “denunciasgranada”, created following a first accusation published through the account of Cristina Fallarás, after the accusations against Íñigo Errejón.
From the Instagram account, dozens of testimonies of alleged abuse are collected that point to “two rapper twins” from Granada who respond to the acronym “ayp.” Stories are told of violent sex, “non-consensual” sex, and sex facilitated through drug use, as well as insults and humiliation.
In their statement published from the individual account of each rapper, Ayax and Prok “deny” all the accusations and point to a “smear campaign” against the group: “People who have known us for more than 10 years know what kind of people we are. We are good people and committed to ALL social causes, without exception. “This has been an attack not only on us, but also on our work, our projects and dreams.” The brother duo announces that they will take action against the people responsible for the aforementioned Instagram account, and assure that they hope that their case “sets a precedent” so that “a person cannot be defamed from the most absolute anonymity, without evidence and without filing any complaint.
