Airbag They laugh at fake farewell tours, those eternal ones that never end and are announced as the last chance to see your favorite artist.
Airbag laugh at the business of saying goodbye. They don’t let it, even if it gives the impression on social networks. As often happens with artists of all kinds, they leave, but they don’t really leave or they spend their lives leaving. That’s why Airbag wanted to make a song to make things clear about it.
The story goes, as the members of Airbag tell it, like this: a band announces that it is quitting. The headlines multiply. Tickets cost a little more. The audience cries a little more. For a few months, musicians receive exactly the affection they have been asking for for years. And then, almost always, the inevitable happens: they come back with even more expensive tickets. Or their vocalist returns sounding almost the same, which for that matter…
Airbag don’t play that game and what they care about is continuing to play for their audience and make us vibrate with their power pop and punk pop songs with addictive choruses and melodies.
“Farewell Tour” has been produced and mixed by Marcos Muñiz and mastered by Miguel Angel Gonzalez in Black Box Mastering, winner of two Latin Grammys. It is also the first preview of “A Strange Force”which will be the next album by the Andalusian group.
