ADÉLA has made the official announcement of her debut album with the release of yet another banger. After the success of ‘KGB’ and the release of ‘Red Bottoms’, the Slovak singer has paid tribute to Miley Cyrus’ ‘We Can’t Stop’ with an inspiring song in which she reclaims her European roots. ‘Ain’t In LA’ is the Song of the Day.
‘PRIMA’ is the title of ADÉLA’s debut, it will be available on September 4 and we already know what her latest song sounds like. The resemblance of ‘Ain’t In LA’ to Miley Cyrus’ hit is evident in the first seconds of the song, with that pitchy and hedonistic voice that talks about “subwoofers in the trunk” or lighting your cigarette “with propane.” This is the first layer of the song: total banger.
However, what ADÉLA sings in the verses points to something more personal, mentioning a girl who “shares a room with her little brother” or who has “Madonna on the wall next to Destiny’s Child.” The artist already knew at that time that her dreams “don’t live at home,” before launching into the catchy chorus.
Although she is now living in Los Angeles, the artist remembers her home in Europe and destroys “the lie” that says that to be someone you have to go to the Californian city. Before moving, ADÉLA was proof that ‘the baddest bitches aren’t in LA’.
