A Perfect Circle surprise with the release of “Starless”, a new single released by surprise that arrives just a few days before the start of their first UK and European tour in eight years.
The song also represents the group’s first unreleased composition since “Kindred”, included on the collaborative EP ““Sessanta EPPP” (2024), shared with Pusciferanother of the projects led by Maynard James Keenan.
Composed by Keenan himself and guitarist Billy Howerdel in California, “Starless” alternates passages of dense guitars with much more melodic moments. Josh Freese, a regular collaborator of the group, appears on drums again, adding intensity to a song that talks about power, alienation and personal transformation.
The release coincides with the imminent start of the group’s European tour, which will begin on June 3 and 4 in London with two sold out shows at the O2 Academy Brixton. Afterwards, the band will perform in cities such as Paris, Berlin or Zurichin addition to going through the Mad Cool Festival of Madridwhere they will perform in concert next July 10.
