The Navarrese band Cold Jane presents us with the first preview single of his debut album, which will be titled “Let them come and try”.
We exclusively premiere “Año emo en el pueblo”, the first preview of the debut album of the Pamplona quartet Cold Jane. The single was recorded and mixed by Guillermo Mutiloa and mastered by Javier Roldón. As for the video clip, it was recorded last May in Ripa and presents a new, more energetic and raw sound from the band without losing the everydayness and realism of its lyrics. A song that talks about growing up, leaving, seeing your friends leave and having to come back when things go wrong.
The group surrounds with a luminous melody a theme as complex as the uncertainty of tomorrow, as reflected in the chorus: “Horror, terror, dread and fear. It only exists in my brain. Horror, terror, dread and fear. I have nothing and today I am dying.”
Cold Jane is an indie rock group formed in 2017 in Iruña-Pamplona. After several singles and an EP, in which they polished a sound characterized by sweet melodies and dark atmospheres, the group, formed by Edurne Maya (vocals, rhythm guitar), Clara Maya (vocals, bass, synthesizer), Íñigo Fernández (solo guitar) and Tomás Tarragón (drums), now takes a step forward with their first album, which will be released in early 2027.
The live tour to present the album will begin in March 2027. Here is the video clip for “Año emo en el pueblo”:
