‘Playboy’ has had a few pop stars on the cover over the years. Madonna appeared in 1985, Dolly Parton in 1978 and Barbra Streisand in 1977. Then came Tiffany in 2002, Mariah Carey in 2007, Azealia Banks in 2015 or even Sky Ferreira in 2016. Now Charli xcx, who stars on the fall cover of ‘Playboy’, is joining the newsstands at the end of this month.
The edition also includes an exclusive flexi disc with ‘Playboy Bunny’, the song that Charli published this year as the B side of ‘SS26’. It turns out that the b-sides of ‘Music, Fashion, Film’ were some of the best on the album, so lucky whoever gets this vinyl.
The interview is done by Kylie Jenner, Charli’s partner in ‘The Moment’, and they talk, among other things, about confidence and feeling sexy. Charli explains that feeling sexy makes her feel confident, whether she’s wearing “underwear” or “a completely tailored suit.” Of course, all photos are taken by his regular collaborator, Aidan Zamiri.
She also talks about her marriage to George Daniel, whom she married in 2025, and how unsolemn her relationship with marriage is. As a curiosity, when asked what she considers sexy, Charli mentions Jack Black for his humor, his talent and his originality.
The cover also comes shortly after Charli announced 6 unique dates in the UK and Europe for February 2027, in Dublin, Glasgow, Manchester, London, Amsterdam and Paris. Charli has explained that the lack of dates is due to how hard the tours are for her “physically and emotionally.”
