Like Stevie Wonder with his celebration of ‘Songs In The Key Of Life’, Charli xcx will not pass through Spain on the European tour of ‘Music, Fashion, Film’. In fact, it’s not that he goes through too many places. The British artist will be on tour in Europe for one month, February 2027.
Charli xcx will only present her latest album in six European cities, at least as part of the official tour: Dublin, Glasgow, Manchester, London, Amsterdam and Paris. In all of them she will be accompanied by Audrey Hobert, special guest of the tour: “Ready to bring you this show that I love so much,” Charli wrote on Instagram.
The lack of dates has caused some frustration among her fans and Charli herself has responded by explaining that going on tour is “really hard” for her on an emotional and physical level. “I have to be true to my truth as an artist.” Charli assures that she does not seek anyone’s sympathy and that she greatly respects artists capable of facing “intense, long and high-voltage” tours, but recognizes that she “is not one of those people and never has been.”
Charli explains that this was also one of the reasons she decided to do a shorter North American tour. “Maybe one day I’ll be ready for the kind of tour you expect from me, but right now I’m not,” she adds, apologizing to those who may be disappointed.
The artist ends by addressing those who will attend her concerts: “I hope you have a good time and enjoy yourself, and I will do everything possible to maintain a healthy and positive mentality and enjoy it too.”
