RTVE has celebrated the presentation of content for its new season. One of the programs that has not been very optimistic about next year is La Revuelta, with David Broncano admitting live that he fears “that this will be my last presentation in September on TVE.”
This was already a topic that Broncano and his collaborators had discussed on many occasions during the program, always in a humorous way. The presenter’s statements have drawn attention this time for their supposed seriousness, with the comedian referring to supposed “elections in March”, although there is no official call.
«Let’s not fool ourselves, we all know what could happen. Depending on what happens in the March elections, Morante de la Puebla could perfectly replace me in September. I’m real nervous. I hope it doesn’t happen, but it is something that I have in mind,” he declared together with María Eizaguirre, director of Communication and Participation of RTVE.
Broncano is making a clear reference to a possible government of PP and Vox, under which La Revuelta, about to begin its third season, could end indefinitely. Thus, one of the few spaces on public television that supports live music would also come to an end.
