About twenty groups will meet again from September 17 to 20 in the Old Port of Getxo in the fifth edition of the DalecandELA Festwhich will once again unite music and social demands against Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS).
Music will once again be at the service of the fight against ALS in the new edition of the DalecandELA Festwhich will be held from September 17 to 20 in the Old Port of Getxo with free entry. Promoted by the DalecandELA association and Jaime Lafita, the meeting seeks to raise awareness about Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis and raise funds for research and support for affected people and their families.
The main poster brings together names like Duncan Dhu, Quique González, Kiko Veneno and Sidonienext to Malmö 040, Diamond Dogs, Luke Winslow King Band, Neomak, Smile, Mäbu, Marte Lasarte, Akatz, No Quiero, LFD Mambo Express, Still River and The Rock & Kids Band. The new stage will feature on Friday Brotherhood, Gift Horse, Duobite and DJ Ichi; On Saturday they will pass through it Vulcanized, Fishing in Sizigia, La Fullería and The Cherry Boppers; and on Sunday it will be the turn of Magician Oliver and Liuba, Gonzalo Portugal and Mississippi Queen and The Wet Dogs.
The festival will complete its program with sports activities, sustainability workshops, yoga, children’s proposals, technological demonstrations and different initiatives related to the care and attention of people with ALS, in addition to a gastronomic offer. A transversal program that maintains music as a meeting point, but with solidarity and the visibility of the disease as the main reason for the event.
