Rosalía has given her first concert in Argentina on the ‘LUX’ tour and has not missed the opportunity to apologize, again, to the public after what happened with the repost of a video by Mia Khalifa in which she called Argentines “pearls.” The Catalan artist has gone head-on: “Tremendous shit, you,” she blurted out.
The first of Rosalía’s four dates at the Movistar Arena in Buenos Aires was used by the artist to address the controversial topic that has surrounded her networks in recent weeks: “My goodness, what a mess the other day,” she commented. This account, which was “scrolling, without looking at it much,” reposted the video and shortly after regretted it: “It was never my intention, really, I feel terrible about what happened.”
Then, the artist took the opportunity to share a memory of her first visit to the country, at Lollapalooza in 2019: “I remember opening the ‘El mal qué’ show with ‘Pienso en tu mirá’ and I remember hearing that whole crowd singing,” before starting to sing the song at that very moment. “How could I have a negative feeling towards a place like this?” he concluded.
