Pedro Sánchez and his “eclectic” summer playlist: Charli xcx, Madonna…

Pedro Sánchez has shared, through a video on his Instagram account, the songs that are accompanying his summer of 2026. Described as “quite eclectic”, the playlist includes a little of everything: Charli xcx, Madonna, Gorillaz, Stereolab and even the reggaeton of ‘EL BAIFO’.

There’s a good amount of indie rock on the list, with Sánchez including songs by Dry Cleaning, Cora Yako, Joyce Manor, Placebo or Triángulo de Amor Bizarro. It is the most abundant category. However, pop follows closely with the inclusions of ‘I Feel So Free’, ‘SS26’, ‘Tantas Cosas’ by Melani or ‘Caught In a Jam’ by Portraits of Tracy.

Sánchez went so far as to say in La Pija and La Quinqui that he couldn’t “with reggaeton.” Even so, Quevedo’s latest album has convinced the president to the point of including ‘EL BAIFO’ on his list. At the national level, mentions of Depresion Sonora, Ángel Stanich, Anna Ferrer and Minibús Intergalàctic stand out.
