ARTBAT, Marco Carola, Solomun and Dennis Cruz b2b Josh Bakeramong others, will star in four open air days that will celebrate the return of the electronic music event to the Jardins de Joan Brossa in Barcelona.
With only a few days left until the big event of the Festival at the Barcelona Forum venue on August 7, 8 and 9, the organization of the event has surprised us with the news of the return of the electronic music cycle to the Joan Brossa Gardens in Montjuïc. Specifically, the second summer season of Brunch Electronikin Barcelona, will be held between August 23 and September 13 and will bring together some of the most prominent names on the international electronic scene such as ARTBAT, Marco Carola, Solomun and the expected b2b between Dennis Cruz and Josh Baker.
The wait for the return to the most emblematic space of this event, already classic in Barcelona, has been due to the remodeling works of the park. A very emblematic space located on the Montjuïc mountain, which will once again host four open-air days where music, nature and community will come together.
Each day will have two scenarios: Main Stage by Estrella Damm and a Green Stage by Yamaha, dedicated to labels and groups that promote the local and international electronic scene. In addition, the experience will be completed with a careful gastronomic offer, a market and the traditional afterparties, which will be announced the week of each event.
Specifically, the season will start on August 23 with ARTBATaccompanied by Adam Ten, ANNA, Shall Ocin and the collective Unreleased on the Green Stage by Yamaha, a platform led by hoopsa reference in melodic sounds and afro house.
On August 30, the spotlight will be on Marco Carolaa world leader in tech house, along with East End Dubs, Cuartero, Hanie and the Barcelona collective Les Enfants Brillants, one of the most influential clubs in the city’s underground scene.
On September 5, Solomun will return to Brunch Electronik for the first time since 2023 in one of the most anticipated events of the summer, accompanied, on the secondary stage, by the label Diynamicfounded by the artist himself.
The season will culminate on September 13 with an unprecedented meeting between Dennis Cruz and Josh Bakeraccompanied by Saoirse, Saidan, LondonGround and a Green Stage by Yamaha that will focus on new talents on the scene.
Much more than music: a community at the center
Brunch Electronik will once again convert the Joan Brossa Gardens into a space where there will also be room for families and the little ones in what is known as the Petit Brunch. A space that will have DJ workshops, games and activities for children, including traditional afterparties.
The festival will also maintain its commitment to accessibility, incorporating measures to facilitate access and enjoyment for all audiences, and will strengthen its link with the environment by offering a special discount for residents of the 08004 postal code. Likewise, it will promote more sustainable mobility through a free shuttle service between Jardins de Joan Brossa and Drassanes, encouraging the use of public transport to access the venue.
